Hi!

I am a former Fulbright Heritage Science Fellow at the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (2023-24 period). I’m also a PhD student in Social Memory and Cultural Heritage at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel) focusing on textile heritage management and conservation, as well as heritage science. My research explores the concept and effects of change and damage in modern and contemporary textile objects, with a focus on people-centric heritage and data science for cultural heritage. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and engagement with stakeholders and communities, I aim to develop methods for understanding and preventing damage in textiles, while also exploring the social and cultural significance of these objects.
